Pengaruh Video Modeling Kegiatan Harian terhadap Kemandirian Personal Hygiene Anak Autis SLB Putra Idhata

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan video modeling berbasis kegiatan harian dengan dukungan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kemandirian personal hygiene anak autis di SLB Putra Idhata Kabupaten Madiun. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest–posttest, melibatkan 10 anak autis sebagai responden. Instrumen observasi mengacu pada panduan WHO, mencakup tiga aspek utama personal hygiene dengan total 15 indikator. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 29,5 saat pretest menjadi 49,1 pada posttest. Peningkatan paling tinggi terjadi pada aspek cuci tangan, sedangkan peningkatan terendah ditemukan pada aspek gosok gigi. Uji Wilcoxon memperlihatkan nilai p < 0,05 pada seluruh aspek, yang berarti perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi signifikan secara statistik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah video modeling dengan keterlibatan orang tua terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemandirian personal hygiene anak autis, sehingga dapat dijadikan strategi pembelajaran baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis video di sekolah luar biasa, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak dengan kebutuhan khusus.
