Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of JPKM: Jurnal Profesi Kesehatan Masyarakat must be:

  1. Written in Indonesia and English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 10 pages and no more than 15 pages. Editors will evaluate if a paper is needing more than 15 pages.
  3. Use of a tool such as Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the JPKM Template.

Guide Of Writing

The framework of writing the articles are as the following: (1) title, (2) abstract, (3) introduction, (4) research method, (6) result and discussion, (7) conclusion, implication, suggestion, and limitation, (8) references, and (9) appendices. The details are as the following.

Structure of The Manuscript

  1. Title. The title of the paper should describe research aims, method/model, and objective, without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has 150 to250 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction -  Method - Results and Discussion - Conclusion
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 20 references primarily with a minimum of 80% to journal papers.
